Today we arranged our interview questions to the various illustrators and photographers that we contacted and sent them the questions over email. We also gained permission from them to feature selected work in the magazine. It was very encouraging to hear that people were responding well and wanted to take part in the project. We then met Aja outside of Bonnington for a quick chat. She brought her t-shirt collection with her so we could have a look. We really loved the designs and she agreed to let us photograph them on models and use the photos in the zine. She also has done previous illustrations as well that we may be able to use. We then asked her a few questions as a mini interview and she gave us some good info. We then went back to work to reflect on all of our ideas.
We were looking through a photo shoot and saw images of people posing in the form of cats, it was done in a very subtle way but there was something very intriguing about the styling and set up of the shoot. This led us to call the magazine MEOW. Its short and Witty, which is what we were going for. We hope to do our own photo shoot relating to cats to emphasise the title of the zine.
