Hardland/heartland

Hardland/Heartland zine is an amorphous cluster of artists working to create an ongoing visual investigation of our own personal histories, cultural interactions and possible futures.

Esquire.

I have been researching high and low for some really unique zines for inspiration and innovation. I have come across Esquire Zine, those who attended menswear day at london fashion week including shows from Savile Row to Somerset house were lucky recipients of the very first Esquire zine. A Manual For A Stylish Life, an ingeniously foldable compendium of interviews, trends, and advice, taking a sideways look at all things menswear.

The colours, fonts and layout used is very simple and minimalist. However this is what stands out for me.Sometimes less is more and in this case it works beautifully! The contrast of the neon pop colour against the black and white format gives it a retro spin! I like a.l.o.t.
